一、Executive, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Tax Reporting – Shanghai

An opportunity has become available for you to join our dynamic and fast paced environment within our Finance team in Shanghai.

Using your existing knowledge and understanding of finance and tax, you will be responsible for liaising with senior stakeholders, staff and clients to provide financial control and tax compliance for our businesses in China which include commodities and global markets, advisory and asset management. Working closely with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities, you will also be responsible for China financial reporting and tax filing including but not limited to VAT, CIT, withholding taxes and stamp duty. You will assist with financial accounting and taxation tasks and prepare monthly internal and external deliverables, including assisting with daily accounting and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, audits and all kinds of tax filing and reconciliation.

You must have more than 5 years of accounting and tax experience, preferably with a ‘big 4’ audit background or from investment banking, commodities, funds, securities or the investment industry. Familiarity with financial accounting for both PRC GAAP and IFRS would be strongly preferred. You must have a good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. You will be an individual contributor and should have proven hands-on experience, and be very diligent, patient and detail oriented.

二、Associate/Vice President Commodity Markets and Finance-Shanghai

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional with a passion for commodities to join our high performing Commodity Markets and Finance team, based in our Shanghai office.

In this varied role, you will be crucial in the success of Macquarie’s structured commodity offering in China. Together with senior leaders, you act as originator, targeting Chinese commodity corporates (producers, refiners, industrials, utilities etc), and will drive assessing opportunity, deal structuring and modelling, and managing & monitoring of positions in physical commodities.

In this role, you will have an exposure to domestic & international futures, commodities exchanges, WFOE structures, physical commodities trading & financing in addition to securitization & leasing.

You have at least 8 years’ relevant experience in the Asian commodities business, preferably having previously worked at a commodities division of a bank, a trading house, or a physical commodities logistics provider. You have good product knowledge of derivatives and financing products covering base metals and energy. You have network of contacts and clients throughout the region. Ideally you are also a team player with a strong attention to details and an ability to multi-task.
