To assist in the execution of trading orders from China investment teams

Trade execution covering mainly China market.

Ensure trades are carried out in a timely and efficient in line with dealing policies

To target zero error rate

Ensure good communication with investment teams providing market colour affecting trades in these markets.

Ensure good relationships are maintained with key counterparties, conducting internal and external broker reviews across asset classes as required

Work closely with internal and external parties on account onboarding

To keep accurate records on all dealing and related aspects of the job for internal as well as regulatory requirements

Ensure adherence to regulatory and company procedures, keeping abreast of relevant industry/market changes

Manage projects related to regulatory change as required

Liaise closely with other departments including Compliance, Legal, Business Risk, Operations and Business Systems Teams on an ongoing basis to support our dealing activity both within the region, and where necessary, liaising with other teams across the broader abrdn group.

Requirements:

Around 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in trading in China fund market.

Possess Fund Practitioner Qualification, or otherwise have the capability and willingness to take and pass the required regulatory exams

Bachelor degree or above

Fluent in Mandarin and English
